Purchased the HR701MLFB Harrier Inshore Conventional Casting Rod when it was on sale for $49.99. Straight up steal, perfect for inshore kayak fishing. Paired up with a Daiwa Silvercast-A SC100A-CP reel for my wife, which she loves. Definitely recommend!!! Great fast shipping in a HEAVY DUTY tube. Tackle Direct is absolutely one of my favorite online sites for my saltwater fishing needs.

Bought an inexpensive baitcast combo and needed a bit of an upgrade on my rod so I decided to go with this Daiwa Harrier Inshore medium light. I have loved it! Not even one month with it and it has seen dozens of fish. Plenty of backbone with enough sensitivity to allow me to feel that winter bite. 100% recommend.

Rod is not ML. It is very light. Too sensitive for inshore saltwater fishing. Very soft and hard to cast more than 1/2 oz jigs. Paired with shimano calcutta 201B. Better suited for crappie fishing. I wouldn't reccomend for any saltwater applications.
