This is a great shallow water trout bait “BUT” the bill’s break off very easily when they bounce off rocks during the retrieve.
I think this lure could be one if the best trout cranks going if there was a little re-engineering done to prevent this breakage problem.

This bait works great on trout. That said, the bill on two of the five purchased broke off. Must be a design flaw, as I’ve never had this issue with any lip-type plugs I’ve purchased in over 5 decades of fishing.
