i love the design, color is perfect, and it looks gorgeous for a reel, only issue is the rotor somewhat flex, i can push it by hand for some reason, wish it was more solid, otherwise it's one hell of a reel.

I have waiting to write this review for a year of use. I have use this reel to slow pitch of coastal reef in the Bahamas smooth drag good gears caught 5-10lb spices of fish plenty of sharks couldn’t hold them as expected. Used it on the surf carefully not to throw it in the sand. Love this reel. The reel is light enough to cast all day perfect reel to use in the backwaters and canals in Fl. The reel is pricey but worth every penny.

I bought this over the winter so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. However, my initial impression has been very positive. Not only is it a nice looking reel, it is extremely smooth. I also like the fact it is so light. I will be pairing this with my 9' St. Croix Legend for the spring. The outfit should be light enough to enjoy catching the shorts that are around but should also be more than sufficient in the event something bigger comes around.

I purchased this reel to go on a 9 ft surf rod for tarpon fishing from the beach on Grand Cayman island. This set up worked great as I landed 9 40-80 lb tarpon off the beach throwing big swim jigs to sighted fish during the course of a week long trip. The drag was flawless with 20 lb fluorocarbon line.
