Poor action for rod rating

For a rod with much better feel, go with the Penn Rampage for a bit more money. These things are stiff for their respective ratings. Still give it 3 stars due to its low price point.

TackleDirect

Received it with a missing eyelet. Figured I could switch it for a surf rod instead. TackleDirect fixes the problem, by sending me a new rod with no issue.
Pros
  • TackleDirect service, rod itself seemed to have awesome backbone.
Cons
  • Ceramic eyelets can pop out.

what type of guides come on these rods

They do not specify on their spinning models so I don't wish to speculate. They list: Hard-chromed stainless guides on conventional rods
