This rod has so far been perfect for me. Good strength, good casting distance, good sensitivity. Not to mention the look is very aesthetic and it always feels light and I can cast it all day. I just wish the lure keep thing was further up the rod and not on the bottom but its not a big deal.

i have three of these rods, a 7'mh casting, a 7'H casting, and a 6'6m spinning.

Bought this for my kayak duties. I have it mated with a lews RZS10z.
It’s my first 6’ MF rod, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with a MF in short. It’s not my ST. Croix. But I had a blast pulling in 9whitws 3 large mouths with this. Good sensitivity. It will handle the job.
Great size to throw in the truck also.

Can you tell me more about this rod like the rod blank, reel seat, and the guide material.

The Daiwa Aird X Braiding-x rod blanks are made of high quality graphite material for strength and sensitivity and are wrapped with a braid to increase strength and reduce black twists.The reel seats are specifically designed and made by Daiwa for these rods, and have 7 guides made of Aluminum oxide.
