Albie/Bonito dessert.

Love these Daddy Mac jigs. Especially when there’s small bait swimming around. These little jigs do a great job at imitating tiny bait fish.
Pros
  • Small and cast well.
Cons
  • Could use another dip in the clear coating.

Worth every penny

I have an arsenal of these type of jigs in blue and also blue/pink and they never fail to get a strike during a bluefish frenzy and have even caught bonito on them regularly trolling the 30-40 oz. Great for catching shark bait or fresh chum.

Excellent Lure
October 20, 2018
Great for anything that eats small bait fish. Off the beach this season (so far) in NC I've caught Spanish, Pompano, and Bluefish with it. Great on a light weight rod and reel.
Pros
  • Durable and cast great.
Cons
  • Treble hook. Recommend a small single hook for catch and release.

Nice metal

Solid jig for bones, already grabbed a few this season. Nice finish, like it better then the coltsniper and think this was a bit cheaper!

Cast well, use the 1.4 for my smaler 1/4-2 oz rod and its perfect for the sweetspot.
Pros
  • Great finish

This lure is great for casting to albies and bonito. It has very good hardware which includes a vmc treble hook. Many colors are available to match the bait that is in the water.

Hope to catch an albie

Kind of small at 1.4 oz - but it should slice through the wind and make a good lure in the surf. Reasonably priced.
Pros
  • Streamline, metal
Cons
  • May be a little undersized for surf fishing.

Very Good Jig

Works well casting or vertical jigging. Paint started to come off after a good day of fishing, but it still caught fish.

Looking Good
September 23, 2015
Ordered these to compare to the Shimano Coltsniper (basically the same lure). I haven't had a chance to fish these yet as I received them this afternoon.

They certainly are far more reflective than the Coltsnipers and make them look dull in comparison. Thinking I will side with Daddy Mac going forward.

The only downside is that I was compelled to swap out the split rings and hooks as they seem a little on the weak side; But I do that with almost everything.

I will update as soon as I get a chance to get them wet.
Pros
  • A less expensive equivalent to the Shimano Coltsniper with a better finish (IMHO).
Cons
  • Swapped out the terminal tackle for something more in line with my expectations. But what it does come with isn't terrible; Reused it on some other smaller metals.
