The 8" Cuda 18854 Titanium Bonded Detachable Marine Shear features detachable handles for easy cleaning. Blades are Titanium Bonded High-Carbon Steel which is 3x harder than untreated steel and will stay sharper longer. One blade edge can be used as a fish scaler and another blade has an integrated bottle opener. Cutting edges are serrated for increased performance. Full tang construction and non-slip Cuda scale pattern handles.

Nice and easy to clean

Nice grip as with all cuda products. Being able to take apart is nice to really clean well. Great cutting on braid and mono.

Tang Broke

As mentioned By another reviewer, mine also broke at the tang today half way through a tog trip. While not very expensive I only used these on 3 tog trips so I was surprised when they broke.

Full Tang - NOT TRUE

The tang is only 1/2 inch into the handles of the marine shears. They are not as sturdy as they seem. Mine broke the epoxy handle across the bass of the tang trimming a rubber plant. So much for handling tough cutting,

  • tang is too short into the handle. So much for quality. It will break under and hard use. Look elsewhere.
