Good overall however these pliers do have a little gap when you close it.

I like the feel of these pliers however there is a gap when fully closed. This is unfortunate.

are the tips of these pliers cutters that are strong enough and sufficient leverage to cut hardened treble hooks? I.E. when one is embedded in your hand and need close cutting capabilities.

They are made for cutting through wire not hardened metal treble hooks
