Bought this because I keep losing the sewing measuring tapes and regular measuring tapes keep rusting. This is large enough not to lose but small enough to store like the sewing measuring tapped. Looking forward to laying the first fish on it.

I was very impressed with the design. It rolls up into a nice size square that fits in your vest pocket. But the most impressive was the magnets that are inbedded in the plastic. It allows the plastic fish stop, which allows you to line up the fish starting at 0", to snap into place when trying to roll up the tape. The magnets and metal pieces are imbedded in the plastic so they do not rust.
Pros
- Nice design. Easy to use and numbers are large enough to see. Easily washable. Compact to fit in pocket.
Cons
- Wish it would roll out flat when putting on sand. But the tape has some memory from being rolled up and stored. Not a big deal but if it were softer and layed flat would be easier to get accurate measurement.
