The Crowder Sportsman Hybrid Jigging Rods are designed for fishing for grouper, snapper, and amberjack. These rods are made with custom designed blanks that are a blend of mid-modulus graphite and eglass materials. These materials provide an excellent strength to weight ratio by combining an exclusive combination of small diameter with increased wall thickness. These rods also feature Fuji guides and are perfect for fishing bluewater gamefish.

Would the 30-80lb be good with the penn battle III 10500?
1 Answer
A 10500 size reel would work with the 30-80 lb. rod, but you would generally see a smaller reel being used with that rod. The 10500 is one of the largest spinning reels on the market and may be much larger than you would need.
