The Couchs Cedar Works Darter plug looks like a typical Darter but it is much more. Swimming in an erratic "S" pattern, it can handle heavy current with a standard retrieve. Action can also be imparted in calmer conditions. This Darter will also excel while being trolled. Many stripers were caught up to 35lb class in the first year of testing this plug. Rumor has it that Tarpon also like it!

Digs in well and swims good. Casts about as well as any other darter. I like to use it when bunker are around. 10/10 for me.

This is a sweet plug. Very good addition to any plug bag where darters are warranted. Fished them up in Montauk and they worked well there.

Can you tell me what the different color combinations are? the photos do not show all the color combinations, so i don't know what I am getting... What is 'Halloween?' Is that black and purple? What is 'gold?' Is that in fact gold al over, or is it the unidentified green top, ivory sides with spots pattern? What is 'bunker' look like (i have seen a dozen variations with that description)?

The gold is a gold/yellow on top. It fades from yellow to a pink hue on the sides, and is white on the bottom.
The Halloween is black on top and fades into a bronze color on the bottom.
The Bunker is The one pictured on the page with the spots and the olive on top.
