Offering big game fighting power at a fair price, the Centaur Anglers Choice Constellation Inshore Popping Rods are ready to handle some of the toughest challenges at an incredible value. These popping rods are ideal for targeting small to medium sized "big game" species such as tuna, GT's, roosterfish and other predators that can be caught on plugs. Built on blanks from imported Japanese Toray carbon, the Constellation Inshore Popping rods offer lightweight, comfortable to cast feel, yet retain enough strength and stopping power to hold their own against seriously powerful fish. A fast action tip allows for accurate, long casts to reach far away schooling fish while the powerful backbone helps anglers get them to the boat. Equipped with quality Fuji components throughout, these rods offer comfortable all day, friction free casting and superior line management. The handles feature fore-grip and rear-grip EVA construction, Fuji reel seats with a double locking nut system and are finished with a rounded rubber butt cap. All models feature a hidden butt-joint two-piece configuration for the convenience of a two-piece rod with the uninterrupted action of a single-piece rod. The stealthy matted black finish with woven carbon accents offer a unique styling for that custom rod look.

Good Day.

What size reel is best for this rod? I am thinking of pairing it with the Penn Battle III DX 5000 or 6000?

Kindly advise.
