C.E. Smith Flush Mount Gunnel Rod Holders, made of 100% 316 stainless steel, feature an extra large, low profile cap to enhance the appearance of any boat. The 100% welded tube-to-cap joint is heavy-duty and will not break.

C.E. Smith Flush Mount Rod Holders also feature a super tough stainless steel gimbal bar welded in place designed to hold up to the punishment of downriggers or heavy tackle. A white vinyl liner protects rods and is keyed with the gimbal bar so the liner stays in place.

Solid well built rod holder for the money. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they don't come with a backer plate. They are available separately so factor that into any cost analysis

I bought 3 CE Smith rod holders. Tackle Direct has the best price and shipping was fast. The reason I bought CE Smith rod holders is because you can buy a stainless backing plate for them. Unfortunately I had to buy the backing plate elsewhere as Tackle Direct does not carry them.

It is missing the rubber cap on top so if you mount it on any please on you boats that dos not drain to the deck It will lead water in to your boat

These rod holders are stainless steel and look great on the boat. They come in different angles for the perfect set up. They have nice inserts and include rubber caps. Very durable and never had any issue with them.

These rod holders are well made with cast SST heads and fully welded SST tubes. I've got several on the boat now that have two years of use and they're still looking nice.

Pretty easy to install but you do need a rasp with the angled holders. Good looking SS finish. Very satisfied with the overall quality.
