Easy to See
October 4, 2019
Easy to see, and works great on baitcasters, as it is stiff and has a little tendency to twist. But to defeat that on a spinner, don't over spool and manually close your bail. I like the high visibility over water.

Not a good choice
September 27, 2016
I bought this line to spool up on a setup for guests and a backup setup, and it was simply terrible. It twisted up like crazy, had terrible abrasion resistance and was terrible to cast. By far one of the worst monofilimemts I have ever tried.

Ok

I use this a way amount as a leader tied to my braid when surf fishing for fluke/flounder. I agree with the others it is a little stiff but it also priced well...you get what you pay for a guess one could say.
Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Stiff

So many tangles and twists
April 26, 2015
I needed some line on my way to go fishing, I saw this and it was awful. I casted once and got a horrible tangle and I took the line off, respooled it back on, very next cast, horrible tangle. And it kept happening the whole trip until I took it off and stopped fishing.

High Vis over water
March 15, 2014
My wife used the 6lb line with a 2ft fluorocarbon leader for finicky trout. I was using 6lb fluorocarbon line with the same setup. We caught one for one so I believe that it does actually disappear under water. It casts just about as well as the fluorocarbon and apparently just as strong at a much lower price.
The 4 star because of the stiffer feel and that it may develop memory over time. This is compared to fluorocarbon.
Pros
  • High visibility over water
  • Comparable to fluorocarbon
  • Great price
Cons
  • Feels a little stiffer than fluorocarbon.

One of the best saltwater lines out there
October 11, 2013
I have been using the Cajun red for about 7 years now and it is now all I use on my saltwater conventional reels from the surf. It cast great and has great abrasion resistance to the harsh surf/sand environment. I either use the 17# or 20# line and will never go to another line.
Pros
  • Red line color disappears first in the water column
  • High abrasion in surf/sand conditions
Cons
  • Can not find 17# test in the 2 lb. spool.

Cajun Fishing line works great
June 15, 2012
Took the wife fishing after I loaded our reels with this fishing line. It is great, hard to see even out of the water, and definitly disappears in the water. She caught 5 Trout...smallest 16" Largest 19". The line is supple, easy to cast, and hold knots great.
Pros
  • everything.....
Cons
  • nothing yet....
