My secret to bottom fishing, this things are magnets for all fish from groupers, snapper, trigger etc. Sharks love them too which can be a problem.
Pros
- All of it, great idea convenient design, fish can resist.
Cons
- Sharks also love them, maybe more that any other specie. Which tells you that fish loves them.

What size is the hook?

The manufacturer does not label the size of the hooks on each size lure, but in looking at them the 2 oz jigs seem to have 3/0 hooks, the 4 oz. jigs have 4/0, the 6 oz. jigs have 5/0,and the 8 oz. jigs have 6/0.
