The RL5353 Rod Leash provides an extra level of rod security. The hardware is all 316 stainless steel and the clips fasten effortlessly to the accessory loop on the Burnewiin mounts. Each rod leash package includes two rod harnesses that loop around the base of the rod protecting it from the leash clip. The leash can also be clipped directly to the appropriate loop on the reel. The RL5353 is compatible with the Burnewiin GM400 and GM600 mounts.

Excellent rod leash / safety tether. Length is perfect. Plenty of room to unhook for standup fishing, once fish is on the line. Very nice hardware used. Best part........it folds up in compact size for storage in your tackle bag.
