It takes practice! But once you get it, its easy to keep your hubba blades razor sharp. Tip. Don't let your knives get dull! Grip awesome! No slip.

I have cleaned over 100 spanish mackerel with my bubba blade 7 inch flex filet knife, after 5 passes on each side with the 10 inch sharpening steel the knife is sharper than new.
