The Bubba 9in Stiffie Knife is a heavier knife with 2mm blade thickness. This knife is perfect for powering through big fish or game with total control, and is great for carving meat. The specially designed beveled edge of this knife is sushi chef style which allows for thinner cuts. The blade is also non stick coated. This knife features full tang construction, made from a single piece of steel that provides strength, stability, and balances the knife. This knife also features a trigger grip, and thumb and finger pads for total control. This knife also has safety guards for protection from the blade as well as spines of fish. The handle is a no slip grip textured handle made from thermoplastic polymer and wrapped with special synthetic rubber that stays sticky when wet for total grip security. This knife is factory sharpened by hand. This knife also includes a custom black synthetic sheath.

I bought this for meat but work also well for fish-cutting up steaks. Sharp it is. The handles are effective-non slip and firm grips. I'll get the 7 flex next time just for fish.

Used the knife for the first time this weekend and was very happy. The knife was sharp, the handle had a great grip, being able to keep the knife in the sheath on my hip added ease of use. Very pleased with this knife, looking forward to purchasing a flex next time around.

I've looked for and owned many fillet knives; all of them up until I held the Bubba blade had a hard slippery when wet handle. I love the feel and grip of the Bubba blade and haven't had any instances of slippage since! Nice knife, good blade and super handle.

Perfect for big Pelagics

Love this knife when filleting up larger fish like Kings and Tunas, as well as Grouper. Would recommend dropping down to the smaller Bubba Blade for more precision on smaller snapper, sheepshead, etc.

This knife is the best knife I have owned for quickly breaking down large fish and meat into usable portions. The handle feels great, with two touch areas for your thumb to rest in, the grip is non slip and well guarded to protect from accidents. The blade feels and acts strong as it easily glides through dense meat. Strongly recommended, and a great price from Tackle Direct.
