Can this be used on the beach with a surf spinning pole?  If not, can you make a best recommendation on what works with surf spinning poles?  Every once in a while a larger shark or big rough tail ray gets on the line and I really can use the belt and back support!

Hello Frank,

You can use the braid fighting harness on a spinning reel but you will need to purchase

the Braid Reel Rest found in this link to accommodate a spinning reel. You'll also want to make sure

to check if the rod you're using has a gimble to slide into the gimble pin on the belt. If there isn't a gimble on the rod

then the play action fish wrangler belt will work perfect for you.

It looks like the belt is part of the harness..  I presume it would also be independently adjustable then.

thanks..........Stephen
