Haven't used them yet but quality and feel are great. The teeth close tightly (no gaps) and the feel in the hand is great and the angle appears to be perfect. Looking forward to putting them to use w/flounder and specks!

Love these pliers! Heavy duty and the angled handle is great for removing large saltwater hooks. At the price you won't mind if a pair goes overboard or is lost in the surf. Have had no issues with rust or broken spring. Easy to wipe down and oil.

Not Designed For Saltwater Use

Like the previous reviewer experienced, these pliers are designed well but rust quickly with saltwater use, especially the spring and enclosure which quickly falls apart from corrosion with regular saltwater use.

This could have been a great product if the manufacturing quality was not so shoddy.

rust , even trying to take precautions, the spring lever pops out of place regular. may be ok for fresh water , don't recommend for saltwater use.
