Sufficient size and ease of rigging ballyhoo when you are tired or a great deal of chaos on the deck.
Pros
  • Ease of rigging ballyhoo.
  • Mindless for beginner with quick learning curve.
Cons
  • You get too complacent and when the pin going through the nostrils breaks, you have to rerig if you are not knowledgeable in rigging without the spring, taking time.

Great for trolling ballyhoo, I like that the fluoro is 130#. Only drawback is that I bought 4 of them, and 2 of the packs were missing the crimp

These are nice to have when the Fish are line shy. Ready to go with a Joe Shutes or Islader while trolling hoo. Hooks are a little smaller than expected for their size but should do the trick
Pros
  • Put together well
Cons
  • hooks are small than anticipated.
