Blue Water Candy makes great products

These little rigs are so much easier than making your own, trust me i have tried and it is a pain. For $5 you get a fully set up ballyhoo rig that you barely have to mess with to get them in the water and start reeling in fish. sounds like a deal to me.

Small Hook

Hooks are definitely not large enough for anything but a small Ballyhoo
Pros
  • Chin weight, pin rig
Cons
  • ?7/0? hook is too small

Small hooks
July 12, 2018
Hooks seem a little small for “8/0”. Also leader seems a little light. Don’t think the hooks are big enough for a good size ballyhoo.
Pros
  • Chin weight and pin rig are fine.
Cons
  • Small hook.
