I love targeting mangrove snapper around deep water docks. My main choice of bait is either small pinfish or small bull minnows. These hooks work great for keeping small bait fish in contact with the bottom. I feel like the shape of the heads help in keeping the jig in a more vertical position, which I makes the bait appear to be feeding. I will be purchasing the 1/16 oz,to see if I can get away with even a lighter jig.

Flounder catcher

I really like the Blue Water Candy 1/16 for flounder fishing. Great when paired with a 3-3.5 inch paddletail or Gulp swimming mullet. Light weight makes it easy to swim the jig in the shallow water I fish without having to fish it super fast. I’m also a sucker for anything New Penny and Blue Water is the only company I know of to offer jigs in this color.
