Blackfin makes great rod blanks and is a top rod finisher. I have over 20 rods from them and they all perform perfectly. The Fin82 is a great all around rod and I use them for shark fishing, as they are light and powerful. Buy with confidence!

i have a shamano tanacom 750 electric reel . im looking for a standup rod that i can use for deep drop sea bass and deep water tile . what type of rod do you recommend and make for this purpose . what kind of reel seat , can i get away with just a roller tip and quality eyes on the rest of the rod ?

The Blackfin will work but, we suggest you look at the DAI-0698 also. It is designed specifically for use with the Daiwa electric reels.
