Black Magic Tackle Equalizer Fighting Belt and Harness sets are the ultimate fighting system for taking on those big game fish. This fighting system allows the angler to apply more pressure on the fish without increasing strain on your legs, arms, and back.

  • Harness is made with lightweight webbing that allows for all day wear.
  • Slip on the gimbal in seconds when a fish strikes
  • Gimbal belt has comfortable padding and gives better blood circulation during long fights.

Sizing:
The size of the harness would depend on the physical size of the person wearing it. Our standard harness (683mm wide) would fit an average size person while the small harness (555mm wide) would suit a smaller person. We also have an XL wide harness (835mm wide) for the larger person.
The size of the gimbal is a personal preference depending on the stance of the angler; those with a wider stance prefer the XL wide gimbal (485mm wide) while those with a narrower stance prefer the standard (440mm wide).

Included in all sets:
  • Gimbal
  • Webbing belt/drop straps
  • Harness
  • Free carry bag
  • Instructional "how to use" pamphlet and link to online video

  • Fit
  • Comfort
Cons
  • None as of yet

Black Magic Harness
October 19, 2021
Purchased for a tuna trip after injuring my back. Technique on party boat for a big fish is using the rail as a fulcrum. That needs a good back to do so no way with the way I was feeling. So at dusk on the drift in the canyons I dropped a squid deep to try to catch my first swordfish. Within 10 minutes I was on. 40 minutes later we had a 200 lb sword on the deck. Without the Black Magic harness I would have been toast. Best harness on the market. Easy on the back. This is the one that last for years. High quality materials and workmanship!
