804S Gunmetal picture shows rod in 2 equal pieces . Popping rods usually come 2 piece but not as shown in the picture, instead their butt is the second piece with most. As this rod is different, are there 2 pieces in the same length? What is the length of the longest piece? This will be a very good choice for me as a part of my travelling gear, if the lenghts are the same as shown in the picture.
1 Answer
The two pieces are different the butt end is the 1 piece the rod the other. Longest section of the rod is 73 inches

What rod would you recommend to pair with the daiwa saltiga 60LD? Mostly used for bottom fishing/grouper?
1 Answer
The 804B would be your best bet in this series of rod for grouper and amberjack.

i have a Calcutta B 400 reel, is it a good match for the Magic Eye 753 B? I plan on using 30lb power pro.
1 Answer
That would certainly be a very nice combo but I like knowing the actual application the rod and reel will be used for before saying it will work. Feel free to call or email in and speak with a member of the customer service team to confirm that this rod and reel will work for your application. From a balance and general feel standpoint this rod and 30 lb PowerPro will marry well with a Calcutta 400. -Paul

what size reel would you recommend for a magic eye 753S, I can't afford a Stella.
1 Answer
We suggest going with something in the 6000-8000 size range. The Saragossa would be a great choice with the Magic Eye.
