The rod is very light and paired with a Trinidad 14 makes all day jigging a pleasure. I've only caught tautog, mackerel, and blues so far. Looking to target some big cod in the future. The rod has a flex very similar to a Shakespeare ugly stick but with a very strong butt section.

The rod looks like a light weight freshwater bass rod and the medium flex feels soft and noodley but the more weight applied the more power you feel.
