Black Hole Cape Cod Special Nano popping rods are 40% stronger than the graphite models. If you like parabolic action with enough backbone, then Nano is recommended. The Nano is also good for anglers with weak backs.

Casting masterpiece

Love this rod. It is light and strong with plenty of whip. The distance it achieves with little effort is impressive. Even light poppers can travel out a long way. Good control with larger fish.
Pros
  • Light weight but strong

Have matched this rod with a Tranx 500 HG and the combination is ideal for tuna and wahoo. Throws bombs with ease and has plenty of backbone for hard running fish.
Pros
  • Nice and light for easy throwing

Rod loads well under heavy drag pressures and landed many 80-100# yellowfin easily. I feel the 80n is the perfect length for casting from head boats.
Pros
  • Great casting, powerful backbone

  • None

Which rod is better to combine with a Daiwa saltiga 4000h spinning reel, the Black Hole 804S Magic Eye Popping Rod - Spinning or Black Hole 80N Cape Cod Special Popping Rod - Nano, to make a small to medium heavy fishing? (River or sea, coast or boat, can the rods drag up to 20-25kg with that reel? (before mentioned). Thanks.

The Black Hole 804S Magic Eye Popping Rod would be a better fit for the Daiwa saltiga 4000h for the application your using the combo for.
