I find it fairly on the heavier side of any 350gram rod. But it sure is stout. Handles fish north of 100lbs

This is a solid rod, especially when compared to Terez (M) which broke when tested by pulling it with 30 lbs leader. Field-tested in Sand Diego with a Shimano flat fall jig, but did not hook a fish on this rod. Hope to edit the review after landing a BF with it in near future.

I have a conventional 350 G and my wife has the Spinning 350 G. What we like is they are light and strong you can put the meat to them if you have too. IMHO Jigging wears me out so get a setup that is light so you can jig longer. These work well for us. I may get the 250 G and try it out.

does the rod have an aluminium reel seat and if so i have read on forums that there seems to be somewhat of an issue. also can it manage around 30 pounds of drag.and if guides get damaged where can it be repaired.

The rod can handle a MAX of 30 lbs of drag, I would not recommend subjecting the rod to that amount of pressure constantly though. If the Rod guides become broken, you can have it repaired by black hole or a 3rd party rod repair service.
