  • Its unique guide positions reduce the torque between the last two guides (near the reel seat). Thus you will not hurt your wrist while fighting giant, much easier to fight.
  • Shows extraordinary strength and power due to use of cutting-edge Nano Technology
  • Fully Parabolic action
  • Though the rod shows tremendous power for the rating, the action of the rod is pretty soft that it gives less burden on your back while fighting

Great rods

Black hole rods are superior. Not many rods this size can catch a 500lbs tuna. I have mine paired with a talica and I don’t think there is anything it can’t catch. A little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for.

Used it for the first time this weekend and boated a 10ft hammerhead in 15min. Have it paired with an avet hxw raptor and the drag at 20lbs.

I bought this rod for tuna/aj/grouper jigging. It is very well built and has a awesome action with jigs in its weight range. I paired this with my Avet LX Raptor, and I would have trouble finding a fish that I couldn't handle with this combo. Would buy again!

Great Rod
January 24, 2015
I just purchased this rod and absolutely love it. I have done some jigging and deep drop for AJ with this rod. I had no problem cranking in an AJ from 600' deep. It worked great for jigging too. I and everyone I was fishing with noted that for a thin looking rod it has some serious backbone to it. This is my new go to rod for jigging and light bottom fishing.
Pros
  • Lightweight
  • Very Strong

I do a lot of jigging and this rod is light enough to jig all day, has plenty of tip in case u decide to drop down for a bottom fish and the backbone to pull whatever your hooked to in.
Pros
  • light, strong, good price

What reel do recommend with this rod? Is this a good offshore rod for saltwater?

I would recommend this rod for offshore saltwater. I think that a reel in the Shimano Talica series would be a great option. Check them out: http://www.tackledirect.com/shimano-talica-lever-drag-2-speed-reels.html
