I have been using the 7/0 and 8/0 doubles and singles for rigging lures. they are made well for the most part. Occasionally I need to take the tape off a rig to redo to straighten it out properly but over all worth it.

These are great hooksets, as you would expect from Bart. If you need stiff hooksets, these are made with great materials and the workmanship is really good. I find some of them to be too long for the lures I like to run but that's easy enough to fix. I just cut the cable at the trail hook and re-crimp to the length I need.

I had a marlin hit one of my tuna lures - totally worth it - but everything was ripped up. I ordered these to have them on hand just to be able to make quick change outs - they are SOLID! While I tend to rig my own these are so solidly built and easy to swap out!

This is a nice hook-set for offshore fishing. The wire is exposed in the middle, not covered with shrink. This makes it more flexible so your lure swims quite lifelike but also makes it more likely to corrode or flex-break over time if you do not care for them well. If you keep your gear well maintained and aren't scared off by the price, these are possibly the most high quality and dependable hook-sets on the market.
