I bought these wire cutters to have just in case if I have to cut a hook or line they work really well to cut braided line and cable just bought a second pair to cut cable really affordable compared to a brand that I'm not going to mention that sells some similar for $90

Cuts small gauge wire, single and multi strand, well. Have not used it to cut 4x hooks yet, not sure how they will hold up over repeated cuts....so far, so good.

Are these strong enough to cut a hook if you accidentally get one stuck in you? Or is there a better option for that?
