The Bill Lewis Echo 1.75 Squarebill Crankbaits are thick bodied, flat-sided squarebills designed to thump hard and cruise through cover with ease. The Echo is a perfect balance between the traditional 1.5 and 2.0 size squarebills that are typically seen on the market. One of the most unique features on this bait is the sound. Most squarebills feature a single rattle chamber that produces a standard vanilla rattling sound. Coming from the leaders in rattlebait design (Rat-L-Trap), the Echo takes a more innovative approach by using two separate rattle chambers, each having their own unique sound. The first chamber emits a low-pitch knock on a slow retrieve, while the second sounds a high-pitch rattle when the bait is ripped free from grass or burned in on a fast retrieve. This unique sound system makes for a more natural variance in sound based on the erratic action of the bait. The Echo features a line-tie that sits flush against the bill in order to prevent grass from becoming wedged between the bill and line-tie. This feature, coupled with the hard kicking action brought on by the oversized square lip, allow the Echo to easily slice through grass and deflect off of structure.
