Absolutely love the 30# for light trolling and bottom fishing

when we hooked into a 5 foot probably and about 350 pound thresher The line handled it with ease. Not quite sure if it was 80, 100, or the 130, just too in awe that we had caught a large thresher. But the big game line from Berkley is fine by me.

I have not had any issues with this line and it doesn’t stretch but Is pretty thin so you can get a lot in your spool

I landed a 160lb. piraiba catfish with the help of this line. AND, checking my line after the fight I discovered two major nicks cutting about 30% of the way through the line (must have hit some rocks). Even with the nicks, with my drag properly set, and with the help of the shock absorption of the line, I was able to land this massive fish. It is a slick line and spools on nicely. I am not fond of the way it can hold a mild kink when pinched, but it doesn't seem to inhibit the performance of the line in any way. I will trust this line for future big game fishing.

I only use trilene line. I've used numerous types of line in 50 years of fishing. Squid line braided lines other mono line. Berkeley trilene is all I use now. It's tangle free & holds very well fishing in rocky areas. I use heavier test line for leaders.
