I bought this and loaded my older Pflueger spinning reel for inshore around Sarasota. I like the castability, and found (my spool at least) it had little to no memory. Worked great for me.

I can't stand loosing fishing because of bad line, so I change my line after every 2-3 trips. Trilene XL has been my "go-to" line for clear water bass fishing for many years, and has yet to let me down.

I use this as a leader while fishing for trout and never have had an issue. i do a lot more saltwater than fresh water fishing so I do not out as much money into my freshwater great but this line has helped land many fish up to 9lbs with confidence.

This line has no comparison when compared to STREN lines. It has a much higher memory and tangles very easy. Knot strength was not very good either from my experience.
