This is a great early morning, late afternoon bait or when the water is dingy. Out fishes all other baits!

These are a great shrimp imitation bait and a few guys that I fish with say they are even better. I won't go that far but they are much easier to use because you don't have to worry about keeping them alive. Combined with the scent these baits also have great action.

This is my go to bait on my teaser hook for early season back bay fluking. Unlike the gulp grubs and anything with a curly tail these do not rip after 1 fish.

About how much do these weight apiece. Wondering with a 1/8 oz head can I throw them with a MLF rod that only throws up to 1/2 and OZ.

Nathan, they weigh around a 1/4oz or so and you will not have any issues throwing these with a jighead of that size on a rod with the specs you describe.

Hello. are these shrimp hooked through the top of the head and then out the body 2/3 the way down the length of the lure? Similar to hooking the 4" Gulp Mullet? Thank you for your time

Through the head, the distance depends on the hook of the jighead. Also effective cutting the tail off and rigging backwards.
