OIB
Grub grub flounder red grub grub
September 20, 2020
Fished them around our neighborhood docks in OIB and caught some flounder and some nice size reds using the 3inch white. Pinfish hit them occasionally taking the tails off but they do tend to last a bit before the school of pinfish move in and attack them to death. Hold up well besides that, caught 4 flounder a redfish and a ribbon fish all on the same grub no problem, threw it back in the tub after.
Pros
  • Catches fish!
Cons
  • Look out for pinfish.

This is a great deal for a great lure. I love to use these lures for fluke and seabass. They have a great scent and great action. They are great on bucktails and naked on a chicken rig.
Pros
  • scent
  • action

Absolutely great bait by itself, or combined with a jig head or when placed with piece of squid/ sandworm / killie. I know a lot of people like Chartreuse, but also try the Chartreuse. They are just as good!
Pros
  • Fantastic all around bait by itself or in conjunction with traditional baits. I can't think of a type of bottom fish I haven't popped with one of these yet.
Cons
  • none

Perfect for flounder

Great for drifting for flounder and white perch. These if not damaged can be added back to the bucket and restore the scent.
