Good bait, but very soft

Definitely attracts fish, good for flounder and sea bass, my only knock is that it is a very soft bait, may only get a few drifts out of one.

Great scent
March 28, 2020
These baits have a great profile resembling sandeels. They also have an amazing scent that fish can't resist. They are great for a large number of fish in the northeast. I love to use them for striped bass and blue on a diamond jig.
Pros
  • scent
  • durability
  • action

Works and holds up

Have not used this a ton other than as a fluke teaser when the sand eels are in thick. Fish seem to like it and unlike some of the other gulp products does not tear after every fish. Just dip back into the gulp and reuse!
Pros
  • Catches fish
  • Does not rip as easy as other gulp products

Lots of bites, but plastic is soft
September 29, 2019
Definitely got more hits on this than the gulp grubs, etc. when sand eels and other longer bait was around, but the plastic is a little soft, and strikes from shorts especially will bite the bait in half pretty quick. Works great but you’ll go through a pack fairly quickly.

eels for Rockfish
May 15, 2014
These worked great around the bridge with jigging. The eels held up great to multiple strikes and te used eels were able to be placed back into the container to be used again. These eels also worked well for drifting in the bay.
Pros
  • Multiple uses.
Cons
  • None
