Infused with Berkley's legendary Gulp! scented formula, the Berkley Gulp! Alive Nemesis features a standard minnow body with an oversized curly tail to provide relentless fish calling action. The Nemesis is an ideal bait to use when long slender forage like sand eels are present. Perfect for use on a jig head or bucktail, the Nemesis has been proven to be deadly for striped bass and is often used by anglers hunting trophy sized fluke in deep waters.

Berkley's Gulp! Alive series of baits come in a hard plastic container floating in a generous amount of what many anglers call "Gulp Juice", or what Berkley has referred to as their "Magic Gravy". This fluid has a specially formulated scent that is absorbed by the baits and then dispersed throughout the water to attract fish. The resealable containers allow you to recharge your baits after long periods of use to increase their effectiveness.

These baits have a great scent that is awesome for fluke fishing. The only problem with these baits is they do tear easy especially with Fluke's sharp teeth. But when the tail is still attached they have great action.
Pros
  • Action
  • scent
Cons
  • tears easy

Work well, also tear easy

The tail action seems to bring in the fluke and seabass but almost everytime you catch a fish the tail is ripped up, thus making it unusable. If they were stronger i would def give 4 or 5 stars.
Pros
  • Fish like them
Cons
  • Tail rips very easily
