How does it connect? Is it designed to go over a 1 OD pole and then be pinned? Or does it fit other manufactures quick disconnect poles

Hi David, The Beckson Hook-Mate Hook is designed to go over any 1" OD Rod. This hook simply is placed over the desired boat hook rod and the button pins are pressed down to align the hook into the correct place. The buttons will pop and pin the hook into place locking it in the correct position on the rod. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
