This stainless steel fillet knife blends innovative design with quality materials for exceptional performance. The stainless steel blade ensures a durable, long-lasting cutting edge. Its progressive, double-taper blade combines the strength needed for cutting through bone and tough skin with a flexible tip for delicate filleting. The comfort-grip handle features a finger guard for added protection against slippage, even when the handle is wet.
The sheath is equally unique with value-added features that include a built-in diamond hook hone, ceramic knife sharpener and hanging slot. Scissor Specifications: The Braided Line Scissors are made of stainless steel and are especially developed for cutting braided line. One blade of the scissors is serrated to hold the line while the other has a very sharp straight edge to cut the line. Has an adjustable tension screw used to keep the blades at the tight tolerance needed for cutting braided line. The handles are made for easy use by right and left handed anglers alike. These scissors are also great for trimming lures and flies and have a convenient hook hone built right into the handle.

Scissors are good for cutting braid. Knife's sheath is not to sturdy though.

Needed another pair of braid scissors and with the low price was like getting a decent bait knife for free. I had to work the knife in the sheath a bit as it was really tight (not necessarily a bad thing). At this price I picked up a couple extras to had out to buddies.

Im a big fan of this kit and I use these scissors to cut crabs for blackfish. I would recommend an Accusharp Knife Sharpener in order to upkeep the sharpness of the knife
