More of a Sub-Surface Walk the Dog

This lure does a great job of catching striped bass and bluefish. I will also try this for muskies next summer in Ontario. However, if you bring this lure in with a cadence, it does not pop every time, but rather does a nice sub-surface shimmy. Fish blast it when worked like this. The lure is built tough and the hooks are strong. I would recommend this lure be part of your arsenal.
Pros
  • Great sub-surface action.
  • Strong body and hooks
Cons
  • Not a high floating popper

I picked one of these up when I saw it in a shop. The price was fair enough. I was surprised by how well this lure casted and it became a fish producer. Its always in my daytime fishing bag.

Great fish finder

Used this lure the last couple of outing in a salt water bay. Resulted in a great Nantucket Sleigh ride from fish large enough to pull my canoe around until exhausted.
Pros
  • Casts well and the strong split rings and trebles hold up to larger fish.
Cons
  • Costs a little more than I usually spend. The durability should make it worth the investment.
