Aside form bearings and O rings, this kit pretty much has everything you need to DIY, and clean your reels at home. Though, I would have liked to have a pair of needle nose pliers or split ring pliers in this kit. And it comes in a box to keep everything together. Also, the Reel Butter three pack goes for nearly $20. So you are not spending that much more for convenience. In my humble opinion, I believe it is better to buy a kit, which has all of the tools and solvents you would need, kept conveniently together. This way you do not have to hunt down a particular tool or grease, every time you do your maintenance. If you own a reel with a manufacturer provided kit, than I would not recommend this one. Use the correct kit for that particular reel.
