Arctic Ice Tundra Series Reusable High Performance Ice Substitute Cooler Packs have been designed at the molecular level so that it freezes at an impressive -15 degrees C (+5 degrees F). What's even more impressive is that its active ingredient maintains a consistent freezer temperature as it stubbornly thaws.
Tundra Series is a portable, safe, and re-usable alternative ideally suited to replace dry ice. Arctic Ice Tundra Series works best when frozen for 36 hours at the lowest setting available on consumer freezers. (What takes longer to thaw, takes longer to freeze.) The purple interior turns white when fully charged. For extended storage periods, the cooler should be packed full of frozen goods and rarely opened.

They really work

Used 3 of the 2.5 pounders in a yeti roadie then filled with beer. It was 93 degrees outside but all the drinks stayed cold and the leftover were still cold the next day when I emptied the cooler.
Very pleased with my purchase and will buy more for my bigger cooler.

The product works as advertised, it will freeze whatever you put near it and I am sure if I used a higher quality cooler it would turn it into a freezer. The problem I am having is I can't get it to freeze completely (or at least to turn completely blue as it says it should once "Really" frozen) despite having my freezer on the lowest setting. Overall a good product, I havn't had the change to make a salwater slurry with it yet to see how it would react with that at the bottom of a cooler.

I thought I would just give this a try since the fish kept poking holes in my foil packs.. All I can say is it is unbelievable..Take two 5 pounders of this and throw it in the bottom of your 70 and then throw in three bags of ice..This stuff turned the Ice into a block!!!!!!! Put some baits in there and three days later I open the cooler and it looked almost the same as it did when I colsed it days earlier!!.I bought a couple more and put two on the bottom and two on the top in my 58 ORCA and 8 hours later was eating HARD ice cream sandwiches on the boat for the first time ever!!! This stuff will literally freeze your drinks so I am ordering 4 of the Chillin Brews.. Can't wait to see what it does for the brewski's!!!!!!!

this is an amazing ice pack. I bought it because it fit my soft sided igloo perfectly. after hours of fishing I pulled out a drink and it was like I just took it out of the fridge. keeps food and drinks remarkably cold

These keep cool for most of the day as long as you have them in your freezer for at least 2 days prior to using. I use 2 of these in my 70qt K2 and they usually get me through a 12-16 hour day without a problem. One word of caution on these, do not throw things into your cooler because these will crack if you hit them just right with a can of beer.
