CRABTRAPBAIT AQU-0024 | Crab Trap Bait Crustacean Attractant | 3 lb | $9.99 USD | ||||||||
Aquatic Nutrition Crab Trap Bait is a hassle-free way to bait your traps with a long-lasting, easy-to-use attractant. Made with ingredients that crustaceans love, and works great for crabs, lobster, shrimp and crawfish. This bait does not require refrigeration, starts working immediately and may be split into multiple traps. Crab and lobster feed mainly at night, so overnight soaks will increase success. Place your traps where currents are likely to carry the scent over areas where crab and lobster hide, such as rocky areas. Tides push scents back and forth, attracting from all directions and the longer the soak, the higher the success. One crab or lobster left in the trap will help attract others. Made in the USA.
Directions for use: For Long soak time, poke 6-10 pencil-sized holes near one end of the tube and place in the trap bait holder. This will prevent crabs from eating all the bait at once. Bait will slowly disperse and last up to seven days. For multiple traps or medium soak time, cut bait in half and leave plastic wrapper in place. Bait will disperse from end only. For short soak time, remove bait from plastic wrapper. Place in trap bait holder box. Bait will last 24-48 hours depending on the current.
