I really like these. They fit a 2" surf belt just fine. I usually have 2 on my belt, one holds my rod when I swim or need to use both hands, the other I use with a lanyard for my boga.

I use these D rings on my 2" surf belt. I hang my Boga on one, on another I attach my tethers. If I'm not in hip boots I can stuff the butt of a rod in and slide it down to the reel seat to hold the rod while taking a fish off. Very handy for all kinds of things.

- Pretty much indestructible. After a month of salt water exposure no rust.

- None, except maybe a bit pricey.

There are so many uses for a D ring, and this one is sturdy, simple, and no nonsense. I especially like it to suspend my rod, freeing up my hands momentarily.
