I use this instead of taking the whole plug bag, perfect for taking some jigs and soft plastics with two smaller pockets for leader etc..

bad manufacturing!
November 21, 2017
This belt pouche is a great idea, too bad on my 2nd trip the corner stitching came apart and I lost 3 Bucktails and 2 rubber shads before I realized what had happened. Of course this took place at 1am with no moon so finding the items was not a success. spending $35 on the pouche and loosing another $20 in lures did not make me happy. Aqua Skins refused to warranty the item because I had sewed it back together for my next trip.. my fault I suppose
Pros
  • Good size for extra items, a small box with Bucktail fits nice, spare light, shads ect.. item attaches easily to wading belt, comfortable to wear.
Cons
  • quality of the manufacturing. ðŸ?€“?€œ

Almost perfect!

Needed something larger than the small belt pouch but not too large. Large enough to hold my phone in a waterproof case, keys, headlamp, leaders, hooks, a few 1-3 oz. weights, needle nose pliers, and a few other small pieces.
Pros
  • Great size for walking the beach and jetty. rugged, good stiches, velcro belt loops, great value for the price.
Cons
  • Would have been perfect for me if it had a sleeve for pliers.

Small belt pouch
October 12, 2014
This is a great little pouch i wear on my wading belt, it even straps nicely on the strap of my plug bag. It holds all my pretide leaders, my headlamp, and some plastic shads. I have the version with a metal closure device, think Velcro would've been enough.
Pros
  • Fits a lot of stuff for its size, great price
Cons
  • Construction

Good value
August 28, 2014
This is a good value. I cut 6 tubes out of PVC to store lures, and it works ok (had to assemble the tubes together with elastic so they stay upright together).
Been wading out with this on my belt and so far it's holding up, except for the inside thin plastic liner which is getting ripped by lure hooks. Just an annoyance, not sure what the function of the liner is in the first place. Water will get in and drain out when in the surf...
Pros
  • Attached nicely on my belt, light, good value
Cons
  • Inside lining will rip

Well designed, but not well made
November 21, 2013
I got this to hold leaders, etc. After the second trip to the surf one of the belt loops on the back separated from the bag. It looked like a manufacturing error - not enough stitching at the stress point.

Sent Aquaskinz an email and they were very nice. Returning it this week for a new one.
Pros
  • Handy extra space for stuff that doesn't fit in your lure bag.
Cons
  • Could be quality problems

Coud do better
May 19, 2013
Everything about this item is great except for the small plastic knob that holds the front flap shut. Not only it would do better using velcro rather than the twist knob, but the twist knob broke off the first time I used it.
Pros
  • Pocket design, size, layout.
Cons
  • cheap twist knob breaks making it unusable.
