The palm material offers good grip; the back of the hand is thin neoprene, which offers some kind of warmth. 2 velcro straps on the wrist closure are excellent for a snub closure. Fingertip reinforcements help casting, especially when wet. Gloves are a good fit for size. Only used them a couple of times in the surf, but seem durable enough to get more than a year of use.

Got 2 pairs of these one for myself and one for my dad. And we've both agreed they are much better than the finger sleeves, Better fitting and far more comfortable! I would definitely buy several more pairs at some point just to have on hand (No pun intended.)

Fit well, not sloppy like some others. This last pair replaces a pair I bought 5 years ago and have beaten the heck out of on the Cape Cod Canal rocks and using them to to grip while I fillet stripers and bluefish. Getting another pair for my daughter.
Pros
- Rugged, nice fit, lasted through 5 years of abuse - still usable but wanted new ones.

- Can't think of any.

Gloves fit really nice and tight on me so make sure u get the right size when ordering. I like them that way so I can still use my hands and fingers when fishing. A loose glove makes it hard 2 use your fingers when handling tackle.

when i first ordered these gloves i was skeptical. every casting glove i've owned tore through the index finger in a matter of one week. these other gloves were leather. the kevlar fingertip on these gloves has not shown signs of wear yet and i have been using them for about 2 months now. so far so good.
Pros
- finger shows no signs of wear after 2 months. i fish about 2 hrs a day five days a week all year round
- comfortable
