Love these for stripers.

All you have to do is quarter a bunker ( minus the head of course) and slap that on the hook. Price is good too. The only thing that annoys me about these chunking rigs without a metal wire leader is that sometimes you run into a bluefish that bites the leader off, and you lose your rig. Other than that they work great.

The best way to fish this will be with a fish finder rig. You'll use the sinker slide that comes with it on your main line and then tie your line directly to the barrel swivel on the leader. Attach a sinker to the sinker slide and bait the hook. A fish finder rig is great because it allows your bait chunk to float around freely finding fish for you all while the weight helps keep you on the bottom. When the fish picks up the bait they will feel almost no line tension since the weight slides and it will help reduce those missed fish.
