they are worth the price, even though this is a nice kit for the price. A friend of mine used this kit for his freshwater filleting but they got dull very quick. This is a kit for the casual user.

- Good assortment for the price. For someone with a budget this is a good deal.

- Don't stay sharp that long

I like having one of these that I can throw in the car for surf trips or toss in the bucket for boat trips. Good quality for the price, and I won't care if it rusts or I lose a piece. Like anything else, if you take care of it, it will last you a long time.

This was a special but on back order. Ordered it for Florida it didn't make it, when it arrived I used it on some bluefish...no problems . great for surf fishing.
